🚀 Film Canister Rockets

Pop the lid and launch a rocket. Draft: not yet checked

How it works

The tablet makes gas. The gas has nowhere to go, so it pushes harder and harder until the lid pops off. The lid pushes down and the rocket shoots up!

What you will do

1. Fill the canister 1/3 with water.
2. Half a tablet. Lid on fast. Flip it.
3. Step back and count down.
4. Pop! Canister to the wash bin.

What you need:

A film canister or a small container with a snap lid, a fizzy tablet, water. Film canisters are getting hard to find.

Safety at home:

Outdoors, eye protection, stand back, never look down into a sealed canister.
